This in-person Russian class for complete beginners runs from May 6 to June 10, held at our Berkeley location at:
📍 2161 Shattuck Ave, Suites 234–235, Berkeley, CA
Classes meet weekly in small groups of 3–6 students, creating a highly interactive, supportive learning environment.
If only two students enroll, the course will still run but will be shortened to five weeks instead of the usual six.
This location is easily accessible for students commuting from Oakland and San Francisco via BART or car.
About the Instructor
Olga, originally from Belarus, is a passionate language educator with a strong academic background. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and English Languages (University of Mogilev), a Master’s in Pedagogical Sciences(Minsk Linguistic University), and is ABD in Belarusian Language and Literature.
Her research focuses on Russian-speaking women's literature of Belarus, giving her deep insight into both language and culture. Olga is fluent in Russian, Belarusian, French, English, and has studied Latin, offering students a broad, multilingual perspective. Her teaching is clear, engaging, and culturally rich.
