Francesca is a native of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a culturally rich region in northeastern Italy. She studied Latin and Ancient Greek at a liceo classico, then earned her Master’s with honors in Modern Languages and Literature from the University of Trieste.

Before moving to the Bay Area, she worked as a German teacher and administrative professional while raising her family. After relocating to California, she began teaching Italian to adults at Stanford University’s Bechtel International Center. She recently completed a masterclass in teaching Italian as a second language at Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia.

Francesca’s classes are warm, engaging, and culture-rich—because learning travel Italian is about much more than just words.
