About the Instructor: Silvia is a dedicated and experienced Italian instructor with a strong academic background in classical and modern languages. She studied Latin and Ancient Greek at a liceo classico, which laid the foundation for her deep understanding of language structure and cultural heritage. She went on to specialize in foreign languages and education, combining linguistic expertise with effective teaching methodologies.
Currently based in her hometown of Verona, Italy, famous as the romantic setting of Romeo and Juliet, Silvia teaches Italian to adult learners in an online setting. She is particularly skilled at guiding students of all levels, with a focus on clear communication, cultural context, and personalized instruction. About the class: Advanced Italian grammar class is for students who have a good understanding of the basics of the Italian language and are looking to further refine their grammar skills. This class focuses on complex grammar structures and syntax, including verb conjugation, subjunctive mood, and conditional sentences. Students will learn to correctly use advanced grammar structures in their writing and speaking, and will engage in intensive practice through exercises, compositions, and discussions. The goal is to master the Italian language and to be able to accurately and confidently use correct grammar in a variety of situations. The class is taught in Italian.
